Was this a gift from God?
i have always been a bit sceptical of God and church etc, but i have gone through really religious phases and i have always felt that even though i never recieved any answers from my prayers i knew he was listening.
well in september i put a water saving device on the shower and it worked fine, yesterday it stopped working and so i told mum about it and she got really cross. i tried to take it off and it really didnt work i was sat there crying cos when my ma gets cross she really gets cross.
i resorted to praying.
i prayed for some help in removing this, and it was like energy surging through me, i felt really strong and it just came off in my hand!!
i was shocked. REALLY Shocked. Ater this happened we went out to the cinema and it dawned on me that i had got what i had asked for! while i was thinking of this i saw a silhouet of a man on the motorway i was really freaked out, so i spoke and i said if it is you please give me one more sign as i am really confused on whether i am just over reacting. then the car lights started dimming!! i was like OMG!!!
so is this the Lord helping me ?? or am i just linking with convienence.

No the energy surge that you have experienced i have felt many times especially in my times of feeling down but i have also felt a quick surge of uncontrollable happiness and i think this is god giving strength to us. Even if you don’t feel like you prayers have been answered straight away god will answer many of your questions and problems maybe not in the time frame you were hoping. And sometimes he can subtly help you then later you come to a realization that he was answering you.

american ran universities overseas?
I am seriously considering playing basketball overseas after I graduate college. Although that time is in four years I still want to know everything there is to know about it. So the question is of college. I am also looking to get a masters degree. I have heard that it is not possible to continue my education in another country and then come back to the United States. What I hear is that the US does not accept degrees or credits from other countries. So in my research about this I found that there are American ran Colleges in other countries. how does that work? and how do I find out about them? any light that you could shine on this topic would be great. Im very curious to find out about my options.

Whoever told you that a master’s degree obtained in another country is no eligible in the US is dead wrong. There would be no point in programs such as the Fullbright Scholarship, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, or Rhodes Scholar Program (all of which offer funding for US citizens to get their masters overseas) if a foreign degree was not legitimate back in the US.

If you are in undergrad right now then you can study abroad for a semester or a year overseas w no problem. The school will confirm before u even leave that you will be able to transfer the credits back to your home university.

If you are talking about your masters then you should probably start a degree overseas and finish it there. I wouldn’t try to do half here and half abroad as masters degrees are shorter and more specific programs and are less likely to accept transfer credit. But you can definitely come back from abroad w a masters and find employment in the US.

As far as the American run colleges…these are usually the international campuses of universities in the US. For example, Miami university of Ohio has a campus in Luxemburg. For the most part these campuses are just locations that student from the home university can come to for their junior year to study abroad for the same price as attending school at home and getting credit from their own university while abroad. These campuses usually do not offer full-time degrees as far as i know.

So I have a complete weakness for guys in uniform and I’m trying to make a list of good movies with hot guys in some sort of military/police/firefighter uniform. question about smoking…??
my dad smokes about 7 times a day…ya i know it sucks!!
hes the only person who smokes in our family…but he only smokes in the washroom upstairs that is his,,,after he smokes in that washroom he turns on the fan to take all the smell away…i don’t mean the fan you guys r thinking..it is this fan in the washroom….
also he than shuts the washroom door so the smell can go away.
And also he smokes outside 2, he smokes then comes right in.
does that all still affect me & my family a lot?
And is it true if your a good dancer/singer/actor and someone smokes in ur family…is it true you ll start getting sucky at those 3 talents??

From what you are describing as far as all the steps your dad is taking to protect the rest of his family from the smoke, I don’t see how his smoking could possibly affect you in any way.

Frankly, if he is only smoking 7 cigarettes a day, he’s not really hurting himself horribly either… assuming he’s otherwise healthy.

Flexible Keyboards for sale on internet?
On a website i found a good gear flexible keyboard, well mine used to loose it’s paint and had led’s under keyboard however, when it started to loose paint it caused my letters unseen so i want to buy a flexible keyboard i saw one on a website that is on sale for 12,40 dolars.
Why is it so cheap is this a trick or should i buy that silicone flexible keyboard?

how do you enjoy the full moon?
I wrap my kids up in blankets outside and make up moon stories. hilarious when they go ..yeah right dad!

My dad would wake me up with come see the moon and tell me tales of sputnik and the man on the moon and how people used to think it was actually made out of cheese. Now i teach my kids those stories and thanks to nightskygirl’s telescope expertise i ordered a couple of 6 inch made for kids orion telescopes and teach them about the craters of the moon.

I told them Abbott & Costello are still on Mars and they believed me!

2500 to a 1500 engine?
Ok so I have a lifted 2003 chevy silverado 2500 and it uses to much gas but I was wonderin wut if I put a v8 1500 engine if dats possible and if it is would it still be the same and would it save slot more gas than havin a 2500 engine.

Nope – probably the same engine. Only difference, unless it’s diesel is that the 2500 has a bigger carrying capacity. Definitely NOT worth the time and effort not counting the money required to do this. You can buy a lot of gas for what it would cost to do this swap.

What?

The diff is payload, not the engine. Most 1500’s (1/2 ton) and 2500’s (3/4 ton) trucks use the same engine.

If you are worried about gas mileage, a lifted 3/4 ton truck is the wrong thing to drive. Sell it and buy something else. A different motor isn’t going to change your mileage enough to matter.

If the truck is lifted and has oversize tires and the rear end gear ratio has not been changed to compensate for the taller tires, you are over-stressing the motor to get rolling. Assuming all the above that can reduce your mileage. A V8 will not get very good mileage either way but using the wrong gear ratio for your size tires cannot help.When using taller tires the gear ratio should be changed accordingly. I agree that the motor is likely to be the same on the 1500 as the 2500.You need to check that out better before even considering a motor change.1500 and 2500 mainly denote suspension and carrying capacities and related component strengths.

alright look most likely your 2500 has a 6.0l LQ4 motor.. and your probably getting around 13mpg.. thats better than average for a 2500.. if your complaining about gas.. get a different truck.. but if you want.. i’ll swap you a prime 4.8l v8 (economy v8 for a1500) for your 6.0l.. that is if your 6.0l is in good condition
